Stratton Foundation
The Stratton Foundation is a community-based nonprofit that cares about southern Vermont. The Foundation provides financial support to programs that address the challenges of poverty. Families that experience an incidence of emergency or natural disaster will also receive direct support.
Stratton Mountain School
Founded in 1972, Stratton Mountain School is an independent, not-for-profit, coeducational day and boarding school located at the base of Stratton Mountain, in the Green Mountains of southern Vermont. SMS is a ski and snowboard academy that combines a traditional middle school and high school education with world-class athletic training for alpine, Nordic, freestyle and freeski skiers and snowboarders.
Stratton Mountain Urgent Care
This not-for-profit medical facility, located behind the gondola, is open during the winter season. During the spring, summer and fall, call 802-297-4086, dial 911 or 4911 from any resort courtesy phone. Staffed by physicians and orthopedic surgeons from leading hospitals, Carlos Otis Clinic was founded in 1971. And named for "Townshend’s Legendary Doctor."
Chapel of the Snows
Even before there was a Village, Stratton had built a community. Along with lifts and trails, lodges and hotels, founders mapped out the non-denominational Chapel of the Snows. Mass and services are scheduled throughout the winter. This charming chapel is the perfect setting for weddings, baptisms and other events.
