Kid's Mountain Camps

Mountain Camp is the perfect summer spot for your child to grow, learn, develop and most importantly enjoy summer in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Our trained staff provides a monitored, educational and fun environment for your children to enjoy all the great activities that Stratton Mountain Resort has to offer in the summer. Mountain Camp programs reflect our belief that physical fitness and recreational skills are key to a healthy and happy lifestyle. We will challenge and stimulate your child with learning, sports and social interaction. Each week will have an adventure theme. Children should come prepared to spend much of their time outside exploring and learning about our Stratton Mountain outdoors. Camp activities may vary by age group. All campers must be fully potty trained.

Mountain Camps are available in 5-day sessions Monday through Friday, and 1-day sessions available on Saturdays. Camps run June 23 through August 30, 2025.

OUTDOOR EXPLORATION
Our programs get campers outside and educate them while they enjoy the natural environment that is Stratton Mountain. We turn the mountain into your child's playground while they take daily hikes to various locations to explore rivers, waterfalls, and ponds.

ART AND SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS
Art classes draw inspiration from the great outdoors and surrounding nature in the Green Mountains. Art projects include using natural materials, mixed media, and tie-dye. Our science experiments create fun, hands-on, and interactive experiences that your children will never forget.

SPORTING ACTIVITIES
We develop young children into lifetime sporting enthusiasts with a proven program of athletic development that teaches our campers the Fundamentals of athletic mobility. Extensive research has shown that the younger children begin with structured movement-based training, the faster they develop athletically. Our program incorporates instruction into fun sessions that will have your child begging to come back to camp. These activities include pickleball, kickball, capture the flag, Slip-N-Slide, or other fun outdoor activities to get the kids in motion.

TEAM BUILDING AND COMPETITION
Teamwork and competition are an integral part of maturing. Our weekly team competitions foster a sense of camaraderie and passion within our campers. They'll strive to do the best for their team and form bonds with fellow campers, making friends for life.
