Welcome to Mountain Time. The seasons may change, but the genuine hospitality remains the same here at Stratton and throughout southern Vermont. More than 60 years ago, Stratton Mountain opened for skiing and started making history as the home of Vermont’s first World Cup ski races and the birthplace of snowboarding. With the Geoffrey Cornish designed golf course opening in 1964, Stratton was a pioneer in bringing year-round recreation to Vermont ski areas.
