The Masters Racing program is for the Master class racer who wants to train and race in a weekend adult program. Some of the participants compete in the New England Masters race series, while others just love to ski fast and train lots of gates. This program offers training on varied terrain with dedicated program coaches for the master-aged athlete who wants to continue developing their technical skills and be surrounded by like-minded individuals each weekend.
Typical equipment needs include Slalom, Giant Slalom and possibly Super-G skis, a FIS approved Helmet, GS suit, Slalom protective gear and a back protector. Athletes are encouraged to be members of the Vermont Alpine Racing Association (VARA) as well as United States Ski and Snowboard (USSS). They will need a New England Masters license if they want to race in the series.
