Discover the thrill of skiing or snowboarding with Stratton Mountain's Learn to Ski or Ride Program. This step-by-step program is designed to help you master the slopes—and reward you with a 25/26 Stratton Select Pass, to ride out the rest of the season, upon completion.

It's official, you've reached winter mountain enthusiast status! You'll spend the rest of the winter on the slopes as a season pass holder.

How It Works
Step 1: Start with the Learn To Ski/Ride Progression Program
For just $199, your first lesson includes:
- A 3-hour group lesson tailored to your ability
- Full day full mountain lift ticket, valid to continue riding after your lesson ends.
- Full day rental equipment (skis, boots, poles, and helmet or snowboard, bindings, boots, and helmet), to continue riding after your lesson.

Progress Through Step 2, Step 3 and Step 4
Complete your next three lessons to understand the mountain and master your technique. Each additional lesson, also $199 each, includes:
- A 3-hour group lesson to level up your skills
- Full day full mountain lift ticket
- Full day rental equipment (skis, boots, poles, and helmet or snowboard, bindings, boots, and helmet)

- Book additonal steps here. All steps must be completed fully and to receive a season pass.
Step 5: Receive Your Stratton Select Season Pass, an $869* value.
It's official, you've reached winter mountain enthusiast status! You'll spend the rest of the winter on the slopes as a season pass holder.
- Give us a call at 1-800-STRATTON, and one of our Call Center Agents will provide instructions on how to redeem your reward - a 25/26 Stratton Select Pass
- Ride out the rest of this season with your full Stratton Select season pass.
- Plus, as a pass holder, you automatically qualify for the season pass renewal discounts on a 26/27 season pass at the end of the year. This can be applied to any Stratton season pass or Ikon Pass.

Helpful Information
Arrival and How To Dress
Once arriving on resort, head straight to Village Rentals in the courtyard to pick-up your lift ticket and skis/snowboard, boots, poles and helmet. Look for the red awnings for Village Rentals, the courtyard is next to the tall Clocktower.
Once set up with your gear, head through the courtyard and up the stairs to the main base area and look for the “Learn To” lesson flag.
For gear and clothing to wear while skiing or riding, you can find affordable options throughout our Village of retail stores including Stratton Sports, located across from Village Rentals in the courtyard. For a day on the snow we highly recommend: goggles, gloves/mittens, neck warmer, base layers (layers under your snow pants and jacket, pajama pants work great!), beanie or hat liner for under your helmet, and tall winter socks. These items will help make your day on the hill even more enjoyable.
Your Lesson
Your instructor will take you through the 3-hour group lessons at your pace. Your first lesson may be in the Learning Zone which includes the covered surface carpets and two smaller chairlifts (Villager and Tamarack). In steps 2, 3 and 4 you will move onto other lifts and terrain with your full-mountain lift ticket when the instructor feels you are ready.
Through every lesson there will be breaks for rest, bathrooms and warming up as needed, just let your instructor know if you need anything.

On the day that you complete each step, you'll receive an email that afternoon with instructions on how to sign up for the next step. You can also find these links above. Take each lesson at your convenience, but make sure you leave some weeks of the season to take advantage of the season pass you'll earn after completing all four steps.

The same person must complete all 4 lessons (Learn to Ski or Ride, Step 2, Step 3 and Step 4) at Stratton during the 25/26 winter season. The purchase of a complete package (lift ticket, lesson and rental) is required for each step.
Participants must be ages 13 and older.
The 25/26 Stratton Select Pass will only be issued to the person that completed all four lessons and is non-transferrable.
After completing the fourth lesson, you may call the Stratton Call Center at 1-800-STRATTON where one of our agents will verify all steps have been completed and they will provide instructions to get your pass.
Participants must be ages 13 and older.
The 25/26 Stratton Select Pass will only be issued to the person that completed all four lessons and is non-transferrable.
