If there were a group for ‘Meteorologists Anonymous’ we’d all be there by now. With the snow systems tested and ready to go, all of us here at Stratton are checking the forecast at an obsessive, compulsive level, ready for that perfect tipping point to turn on the guns and spray the mountain with more snow.

One thing is for certain: the party starts on Thursday. Come test your endurance in the Gobble Gobble Wobble 5K and enjoy the turkey, gravy, stuffing and pumpkin pie at Bentley’s that evening. Friday brings us the glitz of Level One’s ‘Refresh’, preceded by runway models showcasing the latest in 2009-10 ‘must have’ mountain gear. And we’ll cap it all off with a Village Rail Jam (weather permitting) and a fireworks show that will leave you bedazzled. Opening Weekend schedule.
